Leonard Morgan

Leonard Morgan was born on May 3 1942, to the late Mr. and Mrs. James and Eva Morgan. he was the second child out of Henry, Samuel, Charles, Larry,Mary,Gloria,Clara, and Edythe. As a child Leonard spent many of his early years in South Carolina with his uncle Sam and Aunt Elizabeth. He accepted Christ at an early age. At the age of 20 Leonard joined the US Army and served four years. He held several jobs including the BUDD company which he retired from after 30 years of service. On Feburay 26 1962 Leonard had his first child Linda, A few years later a love spark was matched in 1968 when he met Shirley Ann. They were introduced through a mutual friend.Shortly after the two started dating, years later created a blended family and married on June 30 1983. Leonard was an exceptional husband, father,grandfather,son,brother, and great grandfather. Leonard and Shirley enjoyed family trips,traveling down south,family gatherings, and just enjoying quality time with friends and family. Leonard was well loved respected and admired by friends and family. A very dedicated and hardworking man. The knowledge and wisdom that he shared with everyone he encountered stranger or no stranger will be greatly missed.Leonard was very passionate about cars and was everyone's go to mechanic. He provided and protected his family beyond measure. Rarely said no to anyone and if he could help he was there. Leonard will truly be missed. He leaves to cherish and celebrate his life: His loving and faithful wife Shirley, His five children: Linda(Robert),Angela,Felecia, Donnie, Christopher and God daughter Brenda. Eight grandchildren: Chaurice,Leonard,Tyrik,Tyra,Myiah,Brandon,Benjamin and Reginae.Four great grandchildren: Marquise,Vincent,Taraji and Mason.Two great great grandchildren: Cage and Roman.Loving In laws and a host of nieces nephews cousins and friends.
