Leslie Alan Siegel, born November 17, 1956, and the biggest Roll Tide football fan, passed away September 27, 2021. His all time favorite song by Lynard Skynard was Free Bird and we truly hope he is one now. Les was born in Mobile, Alabama and moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1980 where he helped run his family's sandwich shop until 2017. He was predeceased by his loving mother Zelda Grodsky Siegel and leaves behind his father, Melvin “Bebe” Siegel, two children , Justin Ryan Siegel (Mary), Hillary Siegel, grandchildren Jordan Lewis and Cardell Rome, siblings Lance Siegel and Carrie Siegel, his two amazing four legged companions Chacci and Marley, several aunts and uncles ; many cousins and former spouse Jeanne Becker Siegel. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St Judes Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.

I remember my cousin when he was a baby and our grandpa’s army navy store and the floats for Mardi Gras would line up all the way down that street in front of the store and I remember him sitting up there and pictures were taken with him sitting on the floats he just thought that was the neatest thing. Love and miss you my cousin

    While I worked at the Corner Deli with the Siegel family there was never a dull moment. I used to drive Les home from work sometimes and I enjoyed hearing his take on the world and stories about scaring kids on Halloween with his eye. We shared many laughs! He loved his family and I’ll never forget him.
