I have fond memories of Auburn football tailgates with Linda and Dori. Linda was such fun to be around and I enjoyed her wit. I know she will be missed by many, especially her daughter Dori and family. Heaven is an even brighter place with Linda there. Peggy Cerny
I never will forget Linda coming over to Papa’s house to help us make pralines to give away at my wedding. We used Nana’s special candy making pan and she showed us how to make them. We got a little tipsy drinking wine and started dancing right there in the kitchen. She then proceeded to show us the dance “frying bacon” where she was literally on the floor shaking like she was bacon! It was so funny and unexpected, we couldn’t stop laughing. She was such a kookey aunt, a firecracker in a little package.
Q: How did you meet Linda?
A: Linda and I met while school bus training! We became good friends as did our families.. we had some great times driving the band to football games.
Almost every Friday or Saturday night we with husbands and friends met at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Dori, my heart hurts for you! Hugs and prayers.
Linda was my sister-in-law for a number of years. We spent so many happy weekends at her family‘s Lakehouse on Lake Jackson. I’ll never forget how the deer would just come up to her. We called her the deer whisperer. Linda was an interesting person and she adored her daughter Dori. I am so sorry to hear of her passing and will cherish her memory. I pray for the family.
I have known Linda since I was little, her daughter Dori and I were thicker than thieves. She was a second mother to me, we would go to Jackson Lake, races, horseback riding. One of the BEST things she did was bring home a lion cub that lived in the back yard for several years. I will miss her.
