Marietta Southern Cremations & Funerals
Linda Faye Reynolds, age 57 passed away peacefully in her Canton, GA home on January 16, 2022.
Linda was known as Faye to her friends and family. Faye was born on July 7, 1964, the eldest child to her
parents Linda and William “Bobby”. Faye grew up in the Tampa Bay area with her younger siblings,
Helen, and Tony. Faye met the love of her life Scott in early 1980 and the two were married on July 19,
1980. Faye and Scott shared a life of blessings including the birth of their three children. Faye was a
proud “Nanny” to nine grandchildren and two great granddaughters.
When Faye’s time was not spent with her family, she enjoyed her crafts. She had a love for painting,
crocheting and various other crafts. She would turn on her favorite old country music and get lost in
creating crafts. Faye would often make gifts for her family and friends, and she enjoyed the smiles they
would bring. Since Christmas was her favorite holiday, she had to make her home as special as she
could. She would often create a Christmas village for all to enjoy. She liked making goodies and spoiling
her family on her favorite holiday.
Faye is survived by her husband of 41 years, Scott Reynolds of Canton, GA; her daughter Tiffany (Jared)
Albritton of Jasper, GA, her daughter Kimberly Reynolds (Bryan) of Cartersville, GA, son William “Billy”
(Jessica) Reynolds of Brandon, FL, nine grandchildren, two great granddaughters, her mother Linda
(Verlyn) Montgomery of Thonotosassa, FL, sister Helen (Mike) Fullenkamp of Plant City, FL and brother
William “Tony” (Rebecca) Lawrence of Blackshear, GA. Faye is also survived by her in laws and extended
family.
Faye is joined in Heaven by her father William” Bobby” Ray Lawrence, Grandmother Helen Lorraine
Joiner, Uncle Donnie Albritton and mother-in-law Lois Sullivan.
Faye knew after her diagnoses that her time on earth would be cut short. She did not want her loved
ones to be sad and lost. She wanted them to cherish and rejoice in their memories of her. No sadness
and despair. She did not want them to grieve but to celebrate with her. So, with that when you think of
Faye remembers this poem:
I Won So Much More
My body may be gone
But I live on in your heart
I am now a free spirit
In everything you see, feel, and hear
I am no longer frail and weak
There is no more pain and suffering
I fought hard but you see my fight was not
Meant to be won
You will be sad I understand but
Please do not grieve for me
You see I am the lucky one
I am with our Lord
At the Pearly Gates
On the Street of Gold
I received my angel wings
So beautiful and strong
You see I lost my fight
But I won so much more.
Please join us as we celebrate Faye on February 12th from 1-5pm. The event will be held at Hillsborough
