Linda Heaton Galpin

Linda Heaton Galpin of Marietta, Georgia passed away peacefully on Friday, October 14, 2022 at the age of 75. She is preceded by her mother (Ruth Thurman Heaton), father (Benjamin F. Heaton), brother (B. Andy Heaton), and niece (Martha Heaton Carr) in the heavens above. She is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Rob (wife-Chris) and Joe Galpin (wife-Christy) and her beloved grandchildren – Riley, Elizabeth, Brandon, and Matthew. She will be sorely missed by her younger brother Alex Heaton (wife-Marion), favorite sister Phyllis Tabet, sister-in-law Yvonne Heaton along with her nephews David, Zachary, and Jeffrey. Linda was born in Marietta, Georgia on June 16, 1946. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and worked for the Cobb County Water Department for many years. She had previously spent several years working at the family-owned business, The Heritage Shop on the Marietta Square. She had a kind soul with an amazing laugh, and beautiful smile. Her strength, courage, and loving attitude will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Linda. <3
