Linda Leigh Bishop was born December 30, 1940, to Ralph and Louise DeYoung in Trona, California. Linda was the only child. She graduated from Trona High School in 1958 and shortly after she enrolled in Ventura Junior College. While attending Ventura Junior College she met the love of her life, Leonard Bishop. Leonard and Linda married August 20, 1960, and from their union birthed two beautiful daughters, Debbra and Brenda.Linda loved her annual travels to the beach. She adored sharing precious moments with her family and feeding hummingbirds. Leonard and Linda found joy in exploring different wineries all throughout the state of California and spent time together camping, fishing and bowling.Linda is preceded in death by her mother and father, Ralph and Louise DeYoung.Linda leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Debbra(Frank) Rupp, Brenda(Randy) Price, seven grandchildren, Kristin Davis, David Price, Aimee Price, Justin Mauldin, Skyler Price, Joshua Smith and Joseph Rupp, eight great-grandchildren, Emileigh Price, Mason Price, Noah Allen, Carson Price, Paisleigh Price, Grayson Price, Owen Miller, Ivan Mauldin and a host of family and friends. She will truly be missed.

So thankful for our friendship all our working years and keeping our friendship during our retirement years Lin…I cherish the memories of your visit here and also our Ga. visits seeing you, Len and the family. Thankful for our phone conversations, the laughs we shared, the I love you’s at the end of our conversations. You have been a true friend and already missing the Hi Suzie Q how are you doing. May you rest in peace Lin. I will truly miss you but you will always be close to me with the memories and in my heart. I pray that the good Lord gives Len, Brenda, Debbie, and all your precious Grand children and Great Grand Children the comfort and strength so needed during this difficult time.
