  1. My Dear Sister-In-Law,
Words cannot express how you have impacted my life. Lori could not have had a better sister than you and you were always like a mother to Jake and Luke. Your tenderness, love and caring will always be cherished and remembered. You will forever be in my heart and thoughts. May you look down upon us every day in the arms of God, with your bright smile that I will always remember.
I love you forever & ever.
    “Your favorite brother-in-law.”

  2. My letter to you.

I can’t say enough how much I am going to miss you, Lisa and already do. You were my close friend who I confided in, shared countless stories with during phone calls or over dinner, and attended concerts too many to remember. We played golf at our beautiful home course in Woodstock, GA and although I knew 9 holes was just right for you, you would play all 18 for me. Just like family, we never missed celebrating our birthdays, anniversaries or Christmas celebrations. Your social agenda was always so full with lots of friends but you always managed to include me and made me a special part of it.

It was our honor to do something special for you just a few short weeks ago. You loved music and loved going to concerts, especially Bruce Springsteen. We had gotten tickets for Feb. 3 here in Atlanta over 6 months ago and you were still determined to go. Thanks to the Lord and your grit, we (Joe, Alan and me) made it happen! You loved it – almost 3 hrs of it! The last song Bruce sang that night was
“I’ll see u in my dreams.”

🎶“The road is long and seeming without end.
The days go on, I remember you my friend.
And though you’re gone and my heart’s been emptied it seems,
I’ll see you in my dreams.
I’ll see you in my dreams, when all our summers have come to an end.
I’ll see you in my dreams, we’ll meet and live and laugh again.
I’ll see you in my dreams, yeah around the river bend,
for death is not the end.
And I’ll see you in my dreams.”🎶

Seems so appropriate for my dearest friend of almost 28 years. Lisa, you’re a treasure and my life is forever changed for the better because of your friendship.

  3. Q: What will you miss most about Lisa?

A: Dear Lisa, I still remember the day we met 30 years ago as well as I remember the last time I saw you.
You were the sibling/sister I never had. You were always there to share my joys as well as my sorrows. Who will I share those things with now?
You were the most generous people I’ve ever known. My house is full of gifts from you that I will cherish forever.
I hope you know how much you meant to me. I will do my best to be a better person in your honor. I will NEVER forget you Lisa. I just hope I get to meet up with you in heaven. Rest in peace my dear sweet friend.

  4. I met Lisa, in 1995. I had the privilege of living across the street from her. We only lived there 4 years but our friendship lasted until she died. We spent just this past June, 4 days in Greenville, SC. What a wonderful trip that was, never realizing this would be the last time we did anything together. Lisa was loyal, funny and so loving and the kind of person that you were so privileged to have as a friend. She made a difference in people’s lives.
