Loretta Jean Selby

Mrs. Loretta Jean (McSauby) Selby, age 77 of Paulding County, GA passed away peacefully with her family at her side on January 16, 2024. She was born December 2, 1946, in Traverse City, Michigan, to Harry H McSauby and Lucille M (Lewis) McSauby. Loretta spent most of her life traveling and playing music with her loving husband William R. Selby. They traveled together for 30 years in bands such as "Russ & Loretta" and "The Selby's" making many memories and meeting lots of friends along the way. When she wasn't traveling, she loved Genealogy, reading, and watching crime tv. She also loved snuggling with her cat Fluffy. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her loving husband of 54 years, William Russell Selby II, and a grandson, Tanner Selby. She is survived by her children: William Russell (Marie) Selby III, Bonnie L (Rodney) Willis, Bernadette (Mike) Ertle. Ten grandchildren: Rodney Willis, Rachel Robinson, Brandon Willis, Steven Willis, Elizabeth Goodwin, Samantha Kozel, Mariah Sanchez, Austin Selby, Jandi Budde, and John Derek Childs, and 22 great grandchildren. Sisters: Roxanne McSauby of Traverse City, Michigan, Kim Goddard and brother-in-law Vic Goddard of Grand Rapids, Michigan. As well as loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 26, 2024, from 2-5 PM at Southern Cremations and Funerals Columbarium.
