Maggie Lee Lewis

Maggie Lewis was born on September 28, 1954, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She went to be with her Lord on January 26, 2024. Maggie was an understanding woman with a lot of love to give. She lived life to the fullest and did whatever she could to help people the best way that she could. Her heart and mind were open. If you ever needed a place to stay, her door was always open. She was stern on education and was a very hard worker. Maggie's smile never failed to light up the whole room. She loved the blues and cutting a rug every now and then. She loved playing cards and remained faithful to the Dallas Cowboys. Maggie loved to cook and always made sure everybody had something to eat. Most of all, Maggie Lewis loved her family. She never spoke one bad thing about anyone. She said, "Love and treat people how you would treat God, respect me, and let Jesus do the rest." Maggie Lewis was predeceased by her sister Ruby Horton. She is survived by her sister Maxine Savannah and brother Roy Gary, her children: Jeffrey Lewis, Jeanette Vickers, John Lewis, and Willie Lewis, her grandchildren: AJ King, Gabriella Lewis, Octavia Mitchell, Angela Bryant, Trent Taylor, Ariana Lewis, Marvel Kirkwood, Hailey Gunzels, and Gabriel Norris, and a host of nieces and nephews. She will forever be dearly missed. I love you. Rest in Peace Mom.
