Marcela Gundran Aguilar

October 12, 1931 ~ September 16, 2022

Marcela G. Aguilar, age 90, peacefully passed away at home, where she resided for 15 years. She was born on October 12, 1931, in Rosario, Pangasinan, Philippines, and was the daughter of Teodoro Gundran and Emerenciana Quinit. For those who knew Marcela, just envisioning her would put a smile on your face, and for those who didn’t have the chance to know her, Marcela was a loving & joyful soul who loves Jesus, a prayer warrior and God fearing lady. Sunday is her favorite day of the week - as she always say, "Lets go & praise God with our brothers & sisters". She migrated to the US in 1996, and lived in Gaithersburg, MD and joined us here in Georgia the summer of 2007. She loved to travel and has done so almost every year, until the pandemic hit in 2019, which was the same year of her last visit to the Philippines. She was strong, an independent woman, patient and full of love. Marcela will be lovingly remembered by her children, Loreto Sr, Dominador, Edwin and Helen and her son in law Albert J. McCrea II, daughters in law, Virginie, Ester and Julie. She will also be fondly remembered by grandchildren in the Philippines & here in the US (Karen, Toto, Ryan, Renz, Hieden, Eleanor, Edgar, Amber, Daniel Dominador Jr, Rochelle, Beezebol, Maikko, Jhowyn, AJ, & Chris McCrea).

  1. Charlie, Reggie, Dave, and Alex; KP Spring 90 says:

Al and Helen, please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss… Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

  2. The faculty, staff and students of Gwinnett College are thinking of you all during this time.

  3. I went to church with Mrs Marcela for several years. Every Sunday I would look for her because she would always give me the best hug and a little kiss on the cheek. She was so elegant and graceful and I could see Holy Spirit in her. I was so honor to know her and her family.
