Margaret Jeanne (DeChant) Wilde, age 63, of Marietta, Georgia went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 17th, 2023. Jean, a wonderful, dedicated wife and loving mother of five was brought into this world on December 24, 1959 to the late Robert and Mary Jean (Coyle) DeChant of Thiensville, Wisconsin. Jean grew up in Thiensville, as the seventh of nine children. She graduated from Homestead High in 1978. During her middle school years, she met the man she would later marry, Daniel Wilde. Jean and Dan wed on August 8, 1981, and began their life together in Monroeville, Alabama. They spent the next 28 years and were blessed with five children: Meghan, Jacquelyn, Jacob, Andrew, and Ellesha. While in Alabama she followed her passion and made a career caring for children for over 20 years. After moving to Bowling Green, Kentucky in 2010, Jean was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church’s South Campus and lived her life with a quiet passion for serving others. She loved like Jesus did, unconditionally. She had such a beautiful smile that lit up every room. Nothing made her happier than to be called Mom, Momma Jean, or MiMi. Jean is survived by her husband, Dan; her children, Meghan, Jackie (Khyree), Jacob, Andrew, and Ellesha; and her grandchildren Quinton and Tobias; further survived by three sisters (Mary Kathryn, Diane (David), and Nancy (Craig) and three brothers (Daniel (Kathy), Richard (Marianne), and Christopher (Susan).
