Marvin Gray made his transition on September 12, 2022.Marvin was born in Atlanta Georgia on November 12, 1961. He was born to the late Harrison and Mary Gray . Marvin attended West Fulton High school where he played many sports including football and basketball. After graduating in 1979 Marvin served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps until May 3, 1989. While serving in the military he got a chance to travel and explore different cultures around the world.After leaving the Marine Corps Marvin moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL where he opened a restaurant and served his community before returning and settling in his hometown of Atlanta, GA. Marvin loved to cook and entertain, he was a member of his class reunion committee and enjoyed planning and hosting reunions with family and friends. Marvin never met a stranger and he helped and took in everyone and everything! He was a die hard Falcon Fan.. and he lived to ride into the sunset on his Harley Davison motor cycle while listening to his favorite artist Bob Marley.Everyone that knew him knew that He had charisma and could talk his way out of and into anything.In addition to Marvin’s mother and father he was proceeded in death by his sister Lizz Benjamin and brothers Michael Gray, Arthur Gray, and Frank Gray.He leaves to cherish his memories his lawful wife Angela McBride-Gray, Atlanta, GA; children Santerrio Johnson (Emma), Charlotte, NC ; Tanika Gray, Douglasville, GA; Blake McBride-Gray Atlanta, GA and Niece he raised as his own Kelsi McBride Jacksonville, FL; loving grandchildren Promyse Gray, Jefferey Gripper, and Margaux Johnson; siblings Harrison L. Gray (Joyce) Atlanta, GA; Brenda Gray (Kim) Atlanta, GA; Eric Gray (Kimberly) Atlanta, GA and Jimmy Montgomery (Amelia) Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law Barbara Gray, Conley, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
