Mary Angelus McClendon

Mary Angelus McClendon passed away peacefully and went to be with the lord on July 25, 2025, at the age of 71 years old. She was born in Pensacola, Florida on July 9, 1954.
Mary is predeceased by her parents, Charles J. and Angelus T. Fulcher; and sister Alice Collum. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ricky McClendon.
Mary is lovingly remembered by daughters, Michelle McClendon-Whaley (Neil) of McDonough, GA and Rachel Williams (Robin) of Covington, GA; grandchildren, Taylor McClendon of McDonough, GA, Layla Carpenter of Covington, GA, Jayden Williams and Destiny Williams of Covington, GA; brother, Charles B. Fulcher of Augusta, GA; and sister, Peggy Sorrells of Griffin, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Her greatest joy was found in her family, whom she loved deeply and wholeheartedly.
Her kindness, selflessness and warmth touched the lives of everyone who knew her, and her legacy of love will continue to love on through those she leaves behind.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 30, 2025 at Southern Cremations & Funerals at Eastlawn. Mass Intention will be at St. Mary Mother of God Catholic Church, 359 Old Griffin Road, Jackson GA, 30233 on October, 10, 2025 at 5:00 PM.
