Mary Elizabeth Rodenbeck

Rodenbeck, Mary Elizabeth (Bowser) passed away peacefully at Wellstar Tranquility hospice center in Austell, GA early Tuesday morning, July 24, 2023. She was born April 24, 1949, to Ralph Bowser and Jean Bowser (Meads) in Ft. Wayne, IN. Ralph and Jean had three other children, sons Keith, Drew, and Ralph (Mike). Mary was a loving mother to three children: Jason Rodenbeck, Ben Rodenbeck, and Emily Dungey. She was a doting grandmother to three grandchildren, Christian Rodenbeck, Grace Rodenbeck, and Chase Rodenbeck as well as a step-grandchild, Noah Shaver. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Sophia Rodenbeck. Mary had many other family and extended family who will miss her deeply. Mary’s children are eternally grateful to Vangie Rodenbeck (wife of Jason) and Keenan Dungey (husband of Emily) for their unwavering love and support for Mary and her children during the last months of her life. They are also deeply touched by the love of Gail Trackwell and Cindy Wynkoop, whose friendship Mary treasured and who enriched her life with joy, fun, and companionship. Thank you, Gail and Cindy for making mom’s last years her very best. Mary’s body will be cremated and a celebration of her life is being planned, for August 20th in Brownsburg, IN, for family and close friends. More details will be provided as they are finalized.
