Master Sergeant Robert Lee Horace Jr.

Master Sergeant Robert Lee Horace, Jr., commonly known as Lee or Robert, passed away peacefully at 12:30 p.m. on March 24, 2024. He was born on February 7, 1950, in Pickens, Arkansas, to Mary Ella Horace and Robert Lee Horace, Sr. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his brothers, Albert James Horace and Alexander Horace, and his daughter, Sheronda Rochelle Abduallah. Robert is survived by his son, Donald Stephens Horace, and his wife, Mary Edoria Horace. Robert is fondly and lovingly remembered by: his surviving brother, Elton Horace; his sisters, Patricia Burnett, Mary Jones, and Jaley Cox; his grandchildren, Chauncey Carlando Griffin, Casimir Abduallah, Alyssa Grace Horace, and Amelie Isabella Horace; and his stepchildren, Olivia Ogechi Chiuwa, Antoinette Henney, Ronald Henney, and Tiffany Henney. All who knew Robert can attest to his love and pride in his family and friends, his service in the United States Army for more than 28 years and his love of Curtis Mayfield, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and basketball. His accomplishments include final rank of Master Seargent in the United States Army, drill sergeant, combat veteran, and bronze star. Most importantly, Robert was a generous and kind man who will be missed greatly.

Hi Mary, and family I want to thank you for inviting me to Robert celebration of life,I didn’t know Robert personally by listening to all of his love ones speaking about his character he was a powerful human being he touch many lives and show different aspects of God to everyone he met . He never met a stranger he loved family no matter what . Remember his work in the physical was finished his Spirit lives for ever ,he is never gone just speak to each other you are speaking to him ,he showed you how love work he was a bright light for all to see, his smile was the gateway to his classroom.
