Mrs. Melissa Olguin-Perez passed away peacefully at 11:00am on September 21, 2022, at the age of 45 years old.She is survived by her Daughters Jalissa Ortega, Anna Olguin, Gabriella Olguin and Salome Olguin; her Son Juan Ortega; her Grandchildren Anaeli Ortega, Emiliano F. Ortega, Cataleya Manqueros and Elina Ortega.As I sit in Heaven and watch you everyday, I try and let you know with signs, I never went away.
I hear you when you're laughing, and I watch you as you sleep,I even place my arms around you, to calm you as you weep.I see you wish the days away, begging to have me home,So I cry and send you signs, so ypu know you're not alone.Don't feel guilty that you have life, Life that was denied to me,Heaven is truly beautiful, just you wait and see!So live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be freeThen I'll know with each breath you take, you'll be taking one for me.

Melissa was my prima/hermana. Our grandparents instilled the word of God in our lives at a young age. Melissa did have the privilege to hear the word and she embraced the word. The word lived in her heart. Melissa always brightened my life. She was a beautiful soul, a beautiful women, a beautiful sister, a beautiful mother, a beautiful grandmother. Not perfect but she was an honest human being. She lived life to the fullest for sure. She was very independent. She enjoyed cooking to bring smiles to others and used it to share a bonding experience with you. She was so smart, funny, joyful, caring, an inviting person and protective of her family & friends. Her kids and grand-kids were her life, she was especially protective of them. I know, everyone that knew her would say the same. I love you, I will deeply miss you everyday til the end of my days. Melissa was my cuzin and I’ll always remember her for having me scratch her back if she paid me but never paid me and I fell for it everytime it was very heartbreaking to hear she’s gone home now she will be truly missed
