Michael "Mike" Herbert Holliman

Michael Herbert Holliman, 78, passed away on January 15, 2026, in Marietta, Georgia. He was bornon June 4, 1947, in Milledgeville, Georgia, to Herbert and Gervaise Holliman. Mike grew up in Toomsboro, Georgia, and graduated from Wilkinson County High School in Irwinton,Georgia, in 1965. After high school, he attended the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, wherehe earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management. He proudly served five years in the UnitedStates Army. Following his military service, he settled in Dalton, Georgia, where he worked in thecarpet industry for over 30 years. Mike married Anne Holliman in 1979 in Dalton, Georgia, and they shared many happy years together.He was active with the Boy Scouts and enjoyed sports and card games. Mike is survived by his son, Jason (Brittney) Holliman of Marietta, Georgia, and his grandchildren,Ashton, Everett, and Natalie; his son, Brent (Crystal) Clark of Lexington, South Carolina, and hisgrandchildren, Caden and Mia; and his brothers, Harold Holliman and Doyle Holliman; as well asnieces and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anne Holliman, in 2023; his parents, Herbert andGervaise Holliman; and his sisters, Marion, SuEllen, and Elaine.
