Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. When I last saw auntie she was talking about leaving with me, she said I’m not going to be here by myself. I laughed as she said hand me my shoes. I love and will miss her dearly. Rest well my sweet and tell grandma and the rest of our family members hello for me.

  2. My favorite memories are of all of us going to Southlake Mall almost every Friday night eating at Piccadilly and walking the mall. True quality family time that I’ll always remember and cherish.

  3. Your presence will truly be missed. Soar high momma; you are finally at peace💚💚💚

  4. I have many fond memories of aunt, Mildred. The last time we we’re together was celebrating my mom’s 96th birthday, March of 2023. We laughed and talked about times passed and the trip i
l had taken them (4 sisters) to their Hometown of Norwood to visit their parents resting place/grave that January. I’ll forever treasure that moment of the four sisters together, visiting And reminiscing about their childhood upbringing. Aunt Mildred had a wit about her that amused everyone, a warm loving spirit that left a lasting impression in her older years. You, Aunt Mildred will be sorely missed but I take comfort in knowing you’re in a place that knows no sickness. As you take your rest with the ancestors…May your soar high and your spirit fly free.

On behalf of your eldest sister, Lois….until we meet again.

  5. Auntie I hate you had to leave, but I understand your assignment was finished. No more chicken fingers for lunch at Red Lobster. Seriously, I’ll always remember you as a woman of substance who valued presence more than prices. You were kind and always thought of others more than yourself. Thank you Auntie for your candid outlook in every way you chose to express your thoughts and views about heartfelt matters. You will always be missed, loved and remembered by me and my family. We love you Aunt Mildred.

  6. Auntie Mildred more than anything I remember your smile and laugh. I Can remember when you and the kids would come down to grandmama on the weekend and we would all play all kind of games. When we were small you and your sisters would always take us kids to prayer meeting every Sunday. I can see your smiling face in my mind even now. I am so glad you are resting 💕 no more pain. You are in the arms of your Savior. Rest!

  7. “I’m sorry for your loss.” This to shall pass. I’m gonna miss the times me and auntie would laugh about my big arms!! Love you, Auntie Mildred

  8. My sister Mildred. I remember the last time I saw you. My daughter Jackie brought me to see you. Little did I know that it would be the last time I would see you. I am thankful for the fellowship we had that day. Going down memory trail remembering the times of family gathering where there was joy, peace and laughter. I will see you again where peace and joy will never end and there will be no more separation. Love you. I will miss you.💕💞💓❤️
