Mrs. Frances McQuade Harris

Mrs. Frances McQuade Harris, age 90, a resident of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Frances McQuade Harris was born on September 25, 1933, in New Bedford, MA. Her parents were William Henry McQuade and Irene Howard McQuade.She grew up in New Bedford, MA up until she married James S. Harris, Jr. in 1959. They moved to Cape May, NJ in 1961 with their daughter Beth Ann. In Cape May, Frances had twins Pamela and Paula Harris they lived there for 4 years until Jim retired from the Coast Guard. Once he retired, they moved to Forest Park, GA to be near Jim’s parents where they lived for many years. Frances is preceded in death by her daughter Beth Ann and husband Jim Harris. Frances is survived by her 2 daughters, Pam Harris and Paula Harris Rodriguez, her grandchildren Tara & Jeremy Ingram (Ethan & Peyton), Marie & Terry Murphy (Anastasia & Alex), Michelle & Shannon Smith (Johanna & Grant) and many nieces & nephews. The Staff of Southern Cremations & Funerals are honored to serve the family of Mrs. Frances M. Harris. We ask that each of you continue to keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.   6. I grew up knowing Mrs Harris. I spent many an evening laughing and joking with my Mother and our families together at the kitchen table or living room. We have drifted apart over the years but have remained in contact. She was such as loving soul and always filled a room with her rambunctious laughter. She will be missed! My prayers to her Family and ask who knew her. Frank Martin and family.
