  6. Love and Friendship
Love is still the greatest cure the world has ever known- no matter what the problem. The love of a friend makes you feel totally accepted, just the way you are. The love of a friend (like Mary Jones)asks how you are and really listens for an answer. The love of a friend ( like Mary Jones)touches you- even though she knows all about you, she (Mary Jones)loves you anyway. The love of a friend stays with you when others desert you.The love of a friend (like Mary Jones)is a gift from GOD.
FATHER GOD, thank you for Mary E Jones, my blessed precious gift you gave me. I praise the LORD for the time GOD gave you and me together.
I will forget our memories we shared. Love you.

  8. Jamila Harris and Lennox says:

Milton, my classmate and Friend of 50 years, and Our Dearest Mary, have showered me with Unconditional LOVE for all of their 42 years as a couple. Whenever life tried to crush me, Mary and Milton just said, “Come Home, Jamila”. They always offered me a safe place to heal with no judgment.

My Husband, Lennox, asked for my hand in marriage shortly after Mary and Milton visited us in St. Thomas. I always believe it was something that Mary said to him that guided his timing.

Mary, aka “Mike” to her before Atlanta Friends, shed the Light and Love of God on everyone she touched.

It is beyond a blessing to have been loved by Mary in this earth journey. Our Dearest Mary, you are deeply missed!

  9. Mary was and will always be an inspiration to me! I will miss her dearly.

My mom and her shared the same birthday and mother was her wake up call at 6 a.m. when worked for Eastern. I just glad that I was able to surprise her for her birthday party and she made me take pictures with her. GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN REST MIKE.

  17. Mary Jones was my Auntie! I have so many good memories of her; too many to count!!! My mom and I spent so many Christmases and Thanksgivings at the Joneses home in both Morrow and Hampton. We loved going to Calloway Garden on Christmas night for the last Christmas Light show. Mary and I both loved fantasy, comics, and science fiction and would talk about the latest, Marvel or DC Comics movie. I will never, ever, be able to see a butterfly and not think of her. Her love and generosity was unmatched. She had a heart big enough to love so many people and she made each of us feel special! I will miss her love, her grace, her quiet elegance, and her beautiful giving soul!!!

  18. We offer blessings and love to Mary’s family. We remember Mary as a fun, lively and intelligent woman. Her smile and warm personality will always be remembered. In the days, weeks, months and years ahead provide you with sweet memories and gratitude for what Mary embedded into you. The greatest love of all is inside of us!
