Mrs. Therese Feline "FeFe" Romeus

October 15, 1952 ~ February 4, 2024

Mrs. Therese Feline Romeus, also known as FeFe, passed away peacefully on the evening of February 4, 2024, at the age of 71 in McDonough, Georgia. She was born on October 15, 1952, in Haiti to Jean Baptiste Felix Pierre and Mariese Casimir. Therese was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Eliezer Romeus. Feline, as she was affectionately known, was a loving wife, caring mother and a loyal, charismatic friend. As a woman of faith, she dedicated her life to her home and her church, Boston Missionary Baptist Church. Alongside her dearly departed husband, she served the church for over 35 years. Feline's passion for young children and adolescents was evident in her involvement with various church activities, such as Chorale de Jeune, Sunday School, Vacation Bible Study and Awana. She spent countless weekends nurturing and guiding the young members of the church, whether during choir rehearsals, Sunday School teachings and one on one mentoring. Since its inception, Feline sang every first Sunday, as a member of Chorale Mixte, until she was no longer able to in 2019. Her door was always open, and she provided a safe haven for those in need of comfort and support. It is her unwavering love and kindness that made her a true beacon in the community and her presence will be deeply missed. Feline is survived by her four sons, Jeff, Rick, Karl and Dave. Along with their respective spouses, Niurka, Faika, Jen and Erika. She was also a proud grandmother to Angelica, Nicole, Emily, Georgia Eliezer "Eli", Ruby, Christian, Sebastian and Maverick. Feline is also survived by her siblings; Franck Pierre-Louis, Amos Pierre, Fritzner Pierre, Richard (Claudia) Pierre Fivline Pierre, F. Marie (Tony) Morisset, Fierrette Pierre, Therese Pierre Simplice, Guylene (Philippe Frant) Muzac and Ernst (Lavo) Pierre. Finally, she is survived by countless cousins, nieces and nephews. Feline pursued her higher education at Roxbury Community College. She later joined the Stoughton Town Hall Assessors Office, where she worked diligently for over 20 years and officially retired in 2021. Feline's legacy of love, laughter, kindness and dedication will forever be cherished by those who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends and the countless lives she touched. 2. Mrs. Therese was a personal friend to my whole family especially to my mother Heureuse. I’am very close with her siblings and her kids. Our families shared great memories that we will keep in our minds and in our hearts forever. You will be missed Fefe, R.I.P
    Love always

  3. To my sister.
The world grew still on that quiet evening of February 4th, 2024. Then, the news of your gentle departure reached us like a whisper in the night. With graceful surrender, you took your final breath, closing your eyes in peaceful rest. In the quiet moments that followed, the bittersweet exchange of shared sorrow and a profound sense of peace enveloped us siblings. Together, we sipped from the cup of loss, surrendering to God’s divine will, for He knows the mysteries of life and death, guiding us with His unwavering Love.
We will carry dear memories of you, treasured fragments of moments into our souls. For me, one was a day in 2019 when we found peace and Love in each other’s presence within the walls of a hospital. As we prayed for each other, I asked God to grant you favor and to show you his wonders before calling you home. And now, reflecting on your journey, I find comfort in believing that He granted that prayer, guiding you with His loving embrace until the very end.
Rest peacefully, dear sister; you are cherished beyond measure. Until we meet again in eternity, may you find comfort in the loving embrace of our Lord Savior, Jesus Christ.

  4. Betty Compere & Family says:

She was an amazing woman, always smiling. When my family organized any events she always there to help out, she created times for people. I went on trip with her to Jamaica 🇯🇲 in 2018 she was giving advice to us, cracking jokes, laughing with us. She will be missed dearly. May you RIP sister Feline.
    😢🙏😢🙏😢🙏😢🙏😢🙏😢🙏😢🙏😢🙏

  5. We called ourselves cousins, but Feline was my sister and, most of all, my best friend. She made me laugh often, reminded me of old stories of our young age. She was my counselor and, always had a word of wisdom for me.
I feel so blessed for having her in my life. You will be missed, my sister. Rest with the Lord now! ❤️

  7. Feline, you will always be in my heart and thoughts. Thank you for letting me be part of your family by choosing me to be the God-mother of your son Rick. May you rest in peace my beautiful Macome Feline.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
May it be a source of inner strength to know that there’s a loving God watching over you, and that, throughout this time of need, He’ll stay close by your side.
    Love, Colette Senat and family

  8. A true pillar in our community. Our Mom away from Mom. She had the gift of understanding and yet she don’t play. She was the adult that you can talk too. Thank you Lord for gifting us with Feline. Peace of God be with you family 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️

  9. I can’t say I know when I met her but her impact is undeniable. It was through her example and constant sacrifice that I learned what it means to serve in community. She didn’t just give money, she didn’t just give time, but she gave everything first to God and the fruits of her obedience would be harvested by us from now until Christ’s return.
Thank you Feline for every word of advice and every plate of homemade food that warmed my heart and my stomach

  10. Dear Romeus Family,

Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”

May God fill your hearts with His peace, love and acceptance. She has completed her journey here on earth.

May perpetual light shine upon her and May she rest in eternal peace.

May you ALL feel the healing hand of God!

    With Love,
    Marisa and Martin Trevino

  11. “Don’t leave your name behind”. I remember when we used to go to Canada and that’s what you would say to us. Every. Single. Time. When we would arrive to Canada. During the nights, you would sleep in the doorway so that we wouldn’t sneak out. On Saturdays and Sundays, if we were hanging outside in the church’s parking lot, you would made us go back inside.. urrrg I would be to annoyed. But that’s because we didn’t know what you knew. We didn’t see the world as you knew the world regard us. You were always in “mother hen ” mode. I just thought you wanted to make our lives miserable. But as maturity set in, I slowly understood. That was what love looked like. I remember coming to you after moving into the dorm at Curry. I didn’t have anything to cook in and you gave me one of your pots. You said it was a really good one so don’t burn. Lol I still have it. You were right. Thank you for the Saturday hangouts at your house. Thank you for hangouts during the holidays. Thank you for the making sure our legs were crossed while sitting on the pulpit on Sundays. Thank you for the memories. You “didn’t leave your name behind”. You left your legacy. I am forever grateful. I love you Feline and will miss you greatly.

  12. Lucienne Pompulus-Claude says:

I met Feline in the church at BMBC mixte choir. She is always the center of the choir by bringing joy to everyone during rehearsal. My special and personal time with Fefe was when Pastor Vedrine called me to his office and suggested a few single ladies join together and perhaps go out for dinner. Pastor Vedrine made sure Feline was one of them, and we continue to do that monthly by going out to a restaurant or joining one of the sister’s homes to discuss life in general, giving each other advice, and ending with a prayer. Feline was a great counselor and advisor to everyone in the group. She will surely missed! The Romeus family, you will undoubtedly miss your Mom, but remember she was a faithful servant of the Lord; the Lord called her home one day, and you will see her in Heaven. I will miss her laughter, her sense of humor, and the joy she brings to the room she enters, but God knows best.
    Sister Lucienne Pompulus- Claude

  13. So many memories we have shared over the years but the one that always makes me literally laugh out loud is Canada…. when you created a makeshift bed to sleep in between the doorway so we (the girls) could not sneak out 🤣🤣🤣
    Oh thank you Mother Hen💛
