Myra Frances Bonitz, lovingly known as “Tuney,” passed away peacefully while she took her last breaths in her loving son Ryan Kimball's arms in the early morning hours of June 30th, 2025 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain—affectionately called “the magic mountains.” She was residing in Douglasville, Georgia at the time of her passing and was 58 years young.
Tuney was born on May 30th, 1967, and was raised in Norwalk, Connecticut, on a sweet little street called Muffin Lane. Her life was full of love, hard work, and resilience. She worked at Costco for over 20 years, where she was known for her dedication and her generous, kind spirit.
Her greatest joys in life were simple, and she did them with her whole heart—tending to her flowers, baking cookies for friends and family at Christmas, and surrounding herself with her beloved dogs. She leaves behind three: Royal, Luna, and Nyx, and is now reunited with her favorite and her best friend, Mokah, who passed before her.
Those who knew Tuney knew how deeply she cared for others. She had a “give first” attitude—offering help to anyone who needed it, whether it was a ride, a place to sleep, a kind word, or a batch of her homemade cookies. Her warmth touched everyone around her. She was everyone's mother.
She is survived by her loving son Ryan Kimball. Her father, Edgar Bonitz; her loving sisters Laura Bonitz, Berta Bonitz, Margaret Bonitz, Lizz Greenberg, and her best friend, Jennifer Dow, who stood by her through life’s ups and downs with unwavering love and loyalty. Her loving children Matthew Kimball, Jeremy Kimball, and number three and a half De Jay Jackson. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Yarachowicz; her brother, “Boodle”; her uncle, Bob; and her dog/ best friend Mokah.
More than anything, Myra was a mother who loved deeply and gave everything she had for her children. Her son Ryan remained by her side through it all and wants the world to know how proud he is to be her son.
---"I love you, Mom. You signed my birth certificate; I signed your death certificate. You picked out my first outfit, I picked out your last outfit. You witnessed my first breath, and I witnessed your last breath. You were my mother, my father, my role model, and my best friend. I know I make you proud. You gave me everything, and I will carry your love and your spirit with me for the rest of my life. You were amazing, and the world was better with you in it. You no longer have to stress—just relax now with Mokah. Roll on momma, I love you so much. Until we meet again, you are gone but never forgotten"---
