Ozoemena Ibezue

Ozoemena Ibezue was born on April 25, 1956, in Ihiala, Nigeria, and passed away on January 12, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 43 years, Onourah Ibezue; sons Obie and Chike, and her daughter Ijeoma; her grandson Nonyelum, Aiden, and Zimuzo; her sister Nkiru; and her cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Ozoemena was born in Ihiala, Nigeria and moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1980 to build a life and family with her husband. She will be remembered for her beauty, elegance, and kind heart. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support during this time. A visitation will be held on February 23, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00PM inside the Chapel at Southern Cremations and Funerals at Holly Hill, located at 431 SW Broad Street, Fairburn, GA 30213. A celebration of Ozoemena's life will be held at 1:30PM on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, located at 215 Kirkley Road, Tyrone, GA 30290.
