Patricia Mabel Jorsling

February 22, 1948 ~ February 1, 2022

Patricia (Patsy) Mabel Andrew Jorsling, age 73, died after a sudden illness on February 1, 2022, in Atlanta, GA. She is survived by daughter and grandchildren, who made up the entirety of her world; Tanisha Jorsling Sullivan (William H. Sullivan, Jr.), Sinaia (14), Ysabel (13), and Siobhan (9). Pat was a graduate of St. George’s College in Trinidad. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and master’s degree in Education from Boston State College, now University of Massachusetts in Boston. Pat worked as a Math teacher in the Boston Public Schools for over 20 years, where she enjoyed teaching and mentoring countless students. Her teaching colleagues knew her as a kind soul, always with a smile. She was an avid shopper who cultivated many friendships with the ladies of the Children’s department of Macy’s in Douglasville, GA. She was an “all-in Nana” as she was called by her granddaughters, and could be seen at every play, game, or event she was able to attend. Lastly, she enjoyed talking on the phone to her many friends around the world and was likely one of AT&T’s best phone customers. She was preceded in death by her both of her parents (Daniel and Clair Andrew). In addition to her daughter and granddaughters, Pat is survived by brothers Ralph, Winston (Ingrid Benny Andrew), and Dolliver, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren, and friends. Viewing will be held at Southern Cremation and Funerals in Fairburn, Georgia on Saturday, February 12th from 1 to 3 p.m. The funeral will follow at 3 p.m. A repast will be held at the Tyrone Depot following the service.
