Patricia Violeta Dorko, loving wife, mother and daughter, age 57, of Marietta, passed away on January 7, 2022, at her residence in Marietta, GA. She was born on August 16, 1964, to Julio Aurelio Ureta Miranda and Carmen Violeta Germana de Ureta in Lima, Peru. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Human Resources, from Universidad Ricardo Palma. Patricia worked as a Purchasing Agent for Kemira Chemicals. She married, Michael Dorko on May 14, 2005, and was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Marietta. Patricia is survived by her loving spouse of 16 years, Michael David Dorko of Marietta, son, Patrick Julio Perrin, daughter, Hannah Maria Dorko, both of Marietta, her parents, Julio Aurelio Ureta Miranda and Carmen Violeta Germana de Ureta in Lima, Peru, two Sisters, Veronica Pallos (husband, Laszlo) of Decatur, and Rocio del Pilar Ureta Germana of Lima and a number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Marietta on Monday, January 17, 2022, from 1 pm to 2 pm. A Funeral Mass will follow at the church beginning at 2 pm with Monsignor John Walsh as celebrant. Inurnment will be at a later date at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.

  2. Michael and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Patricia was a coworker of mine and was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. She always had a kind word to say and was willing to help in any way she could. We also had a connection through Christ. I asked her many times to pray for me when I was going through breast cancer, and without a doubt I know she did. I am so thankful she was my friend.   7. I was so sad to learn of Patricia’s passing. She was a beautiful woman. She had such a calm voice and a smile whenever I’d bump into her at a church picnic, or school conferences, the store. Although we were not close friends, it was very easy to talk to her. I’d like to express my sincere condolences to her husband, Patrick and sweet Hannah. I can’t image what you all going through. God bless you all and guide you as you face the future without Patricia. I know she will be deeply missed. Trust in the Lord. You all will someday meet again, and what a wonderful day that will be.
