Robert John Cunningham

Robert John Cunningham, 83, of Marietta, GA, formally of Boston Massachusetts, son of John and Florence Cunningham passed on Sunday, February 5, 2023, peacefully surrounded by his family. He was a beloved husband of 60 years to Patricia (Campbell) Cunningham. A proud father of Edward Cunningham and wife, Robyn; Linda (Cunningham) Johnson, and husband, Randy; Catherine (Cunningham) Lowder, John Joseph Cunningham II (deceased), Lysa Cunningham; and a proud grandfather of 9 and 7 great-grandchildren. Robert was proud to be a Marine and served from 1957-1960 with his brothers, William Cunningham (deceased) and Richard Cunningham of Florida. He was a pillar of the community and proud owner of "Blue Grey Sports Cards & Coins" from May 1985 to January 2023. Robert was an avid collector of sport memorabilia. It was his passion. A service will be held at Kennesaw Memorial Park, 1306 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, GA on Friday March 3, at 11:00 am. Family and friends are welcome. In lieu of flowers contribution in memory of Robert Cunningham may be made to Saint Jude's Children Hospital.
