Robert Labron

November 15, 1952 ~ July 11, 2021

Robert D. Labron Sr. 68, of Clewiston Florida was born November 15, 1952, to the late Mr. Robert L. Peterson Sr. and Ms. Willa D. Woods. He was raised in Reynolds Town, Atlanta Ga with the late Mr. William Labron & the late Ms. Mattie Thomas. He graduated from Murphy High School Class of 1971 and went on to extend his education at Marsh Draughon where he met Ms. Glenda Simpson and started the Labron Family Legacy. He spent several years working for Atlanta Dairy before joining his IBM family in 1978. He retired from IBM on May 5, 2019, after 43 years of service. Mr. Labron was an avid movie lover of all genres, but westerns and action movies were his favorite. He spent countless of hours manicuring his lawn and taking care of the lawns & streets in his neighborhood. He had a passion for life, family, music, traveling, and community service. Robert was the patriarch of the Labron family and a pillar within his community. He dedicated his life to serving others & Christ through his church family Amazing Grace World Outreach & A.D.M. He was predeceased by his brothers Nathaniel Strachan, Robert L. Peterson Jr., Willie James Borders, and Ricardo Collins. He leaved behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Carol Labron; children Anthony Labron, Kieta Labron, Robert Labron Jr., and Sade Labron; siblings Constance Dowd, Cassandra Strachan, Cedric (Elizabeth) Woods, Vincent Woods, Brenda (Eric) Williams, Paul Peterson, Rosina (Robert) Simpkins, Jo Ann (Douglas) Latimore-Harris, Clarence McIntyre, Victor Borders, John Monfort, Ida Thomas, Chantel Rice, Deborah Bass, Frederick Simpson, Barbara Simpson, and Dorothy Arnold; grandchildren Dayanna Labron, Danny Labron, Tranaya Labron, Jayseon Labron, Robert D. Labron III, Gianna Labron, Genesis Chatmon, and Carmello Dunkinsel; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family. The legend is gone but the Legacy lives on! Matthew 25:21 “Well Done thou good and faithful Servant”. Well Done! The Labron family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, kind deeds, support & love.
