Marietta Southern Funerals & Cremations
Rolois (Lois) Villa, née Daniels, was born in Akron, Ohio on August 21, 1945, to her parents, Willie and Estella Daniels. She departed this life on December 27, 2023, in Snellville, Georgia. Rolois was preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly, husband Roberto, father Willie, mother Estella, brothers Willie and Jack Daniels, and sisters Estella Hale and Irabell Thompson.
Lois was a woman who knew the finer things in life and approached everything she did with elegance and sophistication. She was known for her commanding, larger-than-life presence and the ability to light up any room she graced.
Lois moved to California shortly after graduating from high school, where she owned and operated two restaurants, Taco Villa and Burrito Villa in Oakland. Lois loved crafting, helping the homeless, antiquing, and being involved in her community. Above all else, Lois loved to entertain. She was a dynamic cook, translating her audacious nature into magnificent meals for all to enjoy. She was a parent to many animals, including her birds, the ever-present, Pepe and Wilita, dogs Derby, Barney, and Freddie, and cat Chippy.
Lois is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Daniels of Akron, Ohio and Mrs. Juanita Tyler of Oakland, California, in addition to a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

I do not have a memory of you – only a decree because we’ve never met. I have been told some amazing stories of your courage and fearlessness. I wish I knew you because your strength in life and your life acumen, containing your many gifts, has been an encouragement to me. I thank you for my new knowledge of your life and your passions. My decree, with the help of God, is to fulfill mine. Rest.
