Ruth LaVonne Webber (“LaVonne”), 85, of Alpharetta, Georgia, passed away on January 8, 2023.
LaVonne was born in Mt. Carmel, Illinois to Charles and Bessie Terry on February 19, 1937.
LaVonne is preceded in death by her son, Daniel Webber, Sr..
LaVonne is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Jon Webber, Sr.; son, Jon (Patricia), daughter-in-law, Laura; brothers, Keith (Carolyn) and Kenneth (Billie), sister, Mary Jane (William); grandchildren, Jon, Philip (Kim), Amy (Lanny), Elise (Geoff), Daniel, Dillon, and Isabella; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

My sister…such a “beautiful soul” and I will miss her dearly. We talked almost every day. I have so many wonderful memories from childhood and on. We were a large family of 9 children with 3 of us left behind. Her illness and passing came all too suddenly. In the end she suffered so much and I am thankful she is now at peace and with our Lord. God bless her husband Jon, as he goes through life without her!
