Teadric Ramone Cummings

July 11, 1972 ~ August 28, 2025

Teadric Ramone Cummings, 53, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away on August 28, 2025. Born on July 11, 1972, in Anniston, Alabama, Teadric, known affectionately to many as “T‑Bone” was the son of Henry L. and Marie A. (Carter) Cummings. At a young age, he and his family relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where he completed his education at Columbia High School in Decatur. He began his career with the JCPenney Distribution Center and later joined Saia LTL Freight, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Teadric possessed a gentle and caring spirit. He cherished time with his family, celebrated his cultural heritage, and was known for his warmth, sense of humor, and storytelling. His love of nature led him to care for exotic pets; especially his snake Echo, feed the hummingbirds, and contemplate the mysteries of space and the zodiac. Teadric found joy in sci‑fi films, music by Anita Baker, Sade, Bone Thugs‑n‑Harmony, and Project Pat, and treasured his collection of firearms and knives. He was a devoted sports fan, with his favorite teams being the Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Braves. His favorite food was cubed steak and gravy. He is survived by his mother, Marie A. Cummings; sisters Veronica Foster (Kenneth) and Shannon Newton (Bobby); brothers Antonio Denson Sr. (Sharabian) and Marecus Cummings (Darnita); as well as the nieces and nephews he adored: Christion, Jacari, Rontika, Devonta, Torion, Bobbie, Chinyere, and Dominic. He also leaves behind a host of great-nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Teadric was preceded in death by his father, Henry L. Cummings, and nephew, Antonio Denson, Jr. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and felt the warmth of his presence. The Cummings Family wish to extend heartfelt gratitude to everyone for all acts of love and concern during the illness and passing of their loved one. May God's bountiful blessings be bestowed upon each of you. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 12:00pm inside the chapel of Southern Cremations and Funerals at Holly Hill, located at 431 SW Broad Street, Fairburn, GA 30213.
