Timothy Bruce Langenberg

May 15, 1978 ~ September 8, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Timothy Bruce Langenberg, who left this world far too soon on September 8, 2025, at the age of 47. Born on May 15, 1978, in Worthington, MN, Timothy brought joy, laughter, and kindness into the lives of all who knew him. Known for his radiant smile and infectious laugh, Tim had a rare gift for making people feel seen, heard, and valued. His heart was as big as his personality—he never met a stranger and never hesitated to lend a hand or an ear. Tim is lovingly remembered by his mother and stepfather, Marlene and Marvin Janssen, and by his extended family who cherished him deeply: stepbrothers Adam Janssen (Shannon) of Powder Springs, Georgia, Nick Janssen of Dubai, UAE; stepsister Sara Hardwick (Ryan) of Queen Creek, Arizona; step-nephews Bailey and Cam Janssen, Hudson, and Hayden Hardwick, and step-niece Hadelyn Hardwick. He is also remembered with love by Step-Grandfather Don Gingerich of Sun City, AZ; Aunt Jean Sylwester of Bend, Oregon; Aunt Joan Compart of Mankato, Minnesota; Uncle Don and Aunt Tammy Langenberg of Quakertown, Pennsylvania; Uncle Arnold Janssen, Athens, Georgia, and many cousins and dear friends whose lives were brighter for knowing him. Timothy is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Henry and Marie Langenberg; step-grandparents, Clarence Janssen and Tena (Janssen) Gingerich; Uncle Ron and Aunt Paulene Thoreson; Uncle Martin Sylwester; Step-Uncle and Aunt Don and Phyllis Janssen; Step-Uncle and Aunt Dan and Carol (Janssen) Schnepf; and Step-Aunt Mary Janssen whose legacy of love and strength he carried with him always. Those who knew Tim will remember his genuine spirit, his loyalty, and the way he could make even the darkest days feel lighter. His passing leaves an unfillable void, but his memory will forever be a beacon of warmth and compassion. A celebration of Tim’s life will be held on Tuesday September 16th, 2025, at 5pm - 8pm In lieu of flowers, please donate to Must Ministries.

  1. I’ll miss you Tim. I’ve known you since you were a young boy through my friendship with your Mom over these many years. I’ll miss your infectious laugh and the cooking sessions we enjoyed together. Rest in peace sweetie.

  2. Funny memory with you cousin was after we were done with grandmas funeral, you rode back with us to our house in St. Peter. It was snowing in the cities and you were the most worried person in the car. Not being used to the bad weather and road conditions you were constantly taking pictures of the snow and kept offering to get us a hotel room each time we past an exit. You were so shocked we made it all the way home and the rest of us were like “dude we drive in this every day”. I’ll miss you Tim. It’s not goodbye dude, it’s see you later. Much love, Justin

  3. Tim, kind and considerate to a fault. I’ll always remember those off-the-cuff delicious meals you prepared for the “stranded” travelers during the “snowmageddon.” You missed your calling my dear. Rest easy.

  4. I was cleaning out my garage the other day and found the football we used to throw around Grandpa & Grandma Langenberg’s back yard. I also remember when you dressed up as Santa Claus one year and handed out presents to us cousins. I looked up to you cuz and will always remember your smile and that laugh. Rest easy Timmy, you may be gone but will never be forgotten. Lots of love to you, Timmy.
