Tommie Harvey was born in Milledgeville, GA on May 13, 1956, and passed away peacefully on March 12, 2024, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
He has been reunited in passing with his mother, Lettie Simmons; father, John Harvey; Sister's, Gwendalyn, Mary, and June Harvey; and his brother, Bernard Harvey.
Tommie will be remembered by his 3 girls, Charlotte Mack, Yolanda Taylor, and Sabrina Hayes; brother, Johnny Harvey; sister, Barbara Harvey; 9 grandkids, Joseph Brown, Jr., Crystal McKnight, Monesha Mack, Xavier Winfrey, Tavisa Taylor., Devante', Sandra, Terrance, and Marcus Williams, and Alexis Love; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces who are serving our country that live in the areas of Fort Valley, Macon, and Warner Robins.
Tommie discovered his passion for welding and pursued it with unwavering dedication. He was known for his meticulous attention to detail, his superior craftsmanship, and his willingness to go above and beyond. Tommi helped complete many skyscrapers in Georgia, and he left his mark (TH) in each and every one of the buildings.
His work ethic and dedication were unmatched, and he was respected and admitted by all who had the pleasure of working with him. Tommie will be deeply missed by his extended family at the Welding Hall. His legacy as a talented welder and a kind-hearted individual will live on in the hearts of all who knew. him.
Rest in peace, Tommie. You will always be remembered and cherished.

I remember I the good times we had when I came to stay over with you and grandma as a child. I’m happy to say that even when you wasn’t feeling good when I came to see you in the hospital you still was able to give me a faint smile and calm my name. I bet heaven feels a lot better than here. I was so happy that you got out of the house to spend time with your 2 month old great grandson Rome. You both had the biggest smile that day. I thank God for allowing you to spend time with us all.
I was 18 years old just graduated high school n was looking for a job. Uncle Tommy n auntie Connie opened up there home to me n moved me in for the entire summer until I found a job and got situated. I will never forget that n I always was grateful to u both for that experience. My uncle bought me alot about being a man a life in general. I love u unk.
