With profound sadness, we announce the passing of SPC Troy Justice McQueen Jackson, aged 29, who tragically left us on August 20, 2024, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, as the result of a motorcycle accident. A man of many interests, Troy enjoyed basketball, skateboarding, baseball, football, motorcycle riding, video gaming, hiking, weightlifting, and spending time with his dogs. His involvement in a Bikers Club and his dedication to his faith at Path Church were testament to his vibrant and multifaceted life. Troy’s joyful spirit, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those he loved made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.

TroyFred,
It’s hard to find the right words to say goodbye to someone who has been such an important part of my life. You were my baby brother—you were family. From our earliest memories, you were always such a joy to be around. Always happy and always smiling.
I’ll never forget the countless memories we had. You brought so much joy and light into my life, and I’m forever grateful for every moment we spent together. The world feels a little less bright without you in it, but I take comfort in knowing that your spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew you.
I wish we had more time, more memories to make, but I’ll cherish the ones we did. I’ll carry you with me always, and I’ll never stop missing you. Rest in peace baby bro. Until we meet again.
With all my love,
Krista Sky
Troy, I can remember the first time you came to visit us in Warrenton. You were kind, gentle, and respectful to your dad, brother and me.
Andy had so much excitement in his face when he found out his older brother was coming to play with him. I remember watching you play cars with Andy in the dirt and on the hardwood floor as if it was yesterday. You were Andy’s best friend, confident and teacher on how to be respectful to me as his mother and to the ladies.
The impact you made on Andy allowed Amber to want to spend more time with you as her oldest brother. I can remember how excited she would be to have you visit to play with her and use your phone to play games. They both just loved hanging out with you.
The love you had for your siblings never went unnoticed, the respect you showed your dad, and the respect you had for me will always be remembered.
Troy, you are truly and will always be an inspiration to your family and me. You are one of a kind and we all will miss you and cherish the memories we have of your sweet spirit.
Rest well with love,
Patrice

“Bye” is such a hard word to say,
It lingers in the air,
A whisper caught in tangled thoughts,
A breath too soft to share.
It carries all the weight of time,
Of moments left behind,
Of hands that reached but couldn’t hold,
Of dreams we couldn’t find.
“Bye” is such a hard word to say,
It echoes in the heart,
A tender note of sweet regret,
A world that falls apart.
Yet in the silence it leaves behind,
A hope begins to grow,
For every end a new beginning,
A path we’ll come to know.
So see you later, dear, my friend,
For this is not the end—
“Bye” is such a hard word to say,
But new hellos will mend.
Referring to every time I would leave from Georgia or wherever I would meet Troy he would never say bye it would always be see you later and he’d tell me that too. Love you Troy your brother Andy
