Born on May 10, 1940, Una lived a life full of creativity, love, and inspiration, leaving behind a collection of beautiful artwork and cherished memories. Una’s passion for the arts was a central part of her life. A talented artist, she excelled in painting, quilting, sewing, and a variety of crafts, including ceramics, Fabergé eggs, custom-painted t-shirts, and oil and acrylic paintings. 1. I was so sad to receive a returned Christmas card and letter that I had written to Una. We knew each other from Andros Island and she and husband Sam became good friends with myself and my husband Bill. May she RIP, I will not forget her. 🌺 Averil Carroll

  2. Una and Sam were two of the nicest people around! Sad for the loss but grateful to have known them.

  3. Una and her husband Sam were the first friends I had on Andros Island. They made me feel like family. She was wise beyond her years and was able to capture on canvas God’s beauty on the island. You will be missed my sister in Christ 💗

  4. After many years of sending Christmas Cards to my dear friends Una and Sam Collins. In addition, after the passing of my dear friend Sam Collins, I continued to reach out to Una now living with her daughter and son-in-law in Marietta Georgia.

This pass year my Christmas Card was returned, unfortunately I missed placed the contract information previously sent by her daughter Debbie Denton. Just today I was informed of Una’s passing and was furnished the address of her Obituary by another dear friend.

Sam and Una were also a part of mine and my dearly departed Laura’s AUTEC family of many years. We both retired to Texas and visited each other on many occasions. Una was not short on her artistic talents, many of her paintings are still displayed at my house in West Texas.

Una not only was a wonderful friend, but we worked together in the same department on the AUTEC Project. During her tenure she was the most knowledgeable person in the Supply Stock Control Section, you could always count on her for the most difficult solutions.

I will always remember when we addressed one another, I would be “E” and she would be “G” defined as (Goodness) and I truly believed that of that wonderful lady. She will always be in my heart and will be truly missed.

  5. I just recently learned of Una’s passing just over a year ago, I had wondered why a letter and then a Christmas card were returned. So very, very sad. I knew Una (and Sam) on Andros Island for a great number of years. She became and remains a lovely, lovely friend. Happy memories. May she always RIP. 💕
