Mr. Casimiro Salas Castillo, Jr. age 76 of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away on Friday January 3, 2020 following a brief illness. Mr. Salas Castillo was born on March 4, 1943 in Cuidad Mante, Mexico son of the late Casimiro Salas, Sr and Guadalupe Castillo Gonzalez. Mr. Salas was retired from SARH Agriculture where he was an Operations Manager. Casimiro was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his entire family.
Mr. Casimiro is survived by his wife of 55 years Esther Portes Porras; Daughters and Son-in-Laws Leticia Salas (Martin Villarreal), Martha Salas, Patricia Salas (Julian Santana), Laura Salas (Miguel Angel Barrios). Nine Grandchildren: Nayeli Villarreal (Moises Garcia), Alexis Santana (Carlos Ivan Sanchez), Cristian Santana (Brittany Smallwood), Martin Villarreal Jr, Karla Toro (Juan Guevara), Juan Villarreal, Max Santana, Emily Barrios and Abigail Barrios. Two Great Grandchildren Carlos Ricardo Sanchez and Maria Jolette Guevara. Sisters and Brothers: Clara Salas, Quintina Salas, Arnulfo Salas, Octavio Salas and Maria Guadalupe Salas.
Funeral services for Mr. Casimiro Salas Castillo, Jr. will be held on Tuesday January 7th at 12:00 noon from the Columbarium Chapel at Southern Cremations and Funerals at Cheatham Hill, 1861 Dallas Highway, Marietta, GA with Pastor Jesus Mendoza and Pastor Jesse Perez officiating. The family will have a visitation on Monday evening from 5:00 pm until 5:00am on Tuesday morning with Rosary Service being conducted at 7:00 pm Monday evening with Father Brian Sherod. Interment to follow the service in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
