Cydney De'nene Lanier

Cydney De’nene Lanier (Terry) of Dallas, Georgia, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on January 7, 2020 surrounded by her heartbroken family. She was born on July 13, 1977 in Fulton County, Georgia to Gerald and Gloria Terry. She was married for 15 years to her best friend, Shaun Lanier. Cydney was fiercely loyal to her family and friends and could be counted on to say what everyone was thinking but hesitant to say. Nothing made her prouder than her nieces and nephews except maybe her fur baby, Reggie. She was preceded in death by her father Gerald Terry and her grandparents Vertis and Carolyn Whatley. Survivors include her husband and Thunder Buddy, Shaun Lanier; her mother, Gloria Terry of Augusta; her brothers, Stephen (Terri) Smith of Newnan and Todd (Sharon) Smith of Griffin; her sister, Dawn (Robert) Stribling of Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
