Ray L. Moon, October 11, 1939 - January 12,2020 Ray L. Moon, 80, of Newnan GA passed away Sunday January 12, 2020 peacefully at his home. Ray was born in Woodville, NY the son of Myron and Mabel Moon. After graduating high school, he served in United States Army, he was honorably discharged. After going to tech school, Ray had a 32-yearlong employment with Delta Airlines. Ray was very active and enjoyed many hobbies including, spending time with family and friends and traveling. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, Carolina, Birmingham AL, Son, Matthew, Port Richey FL daughters, Patricia (David) Green, Belleville NY; grandchildren Ashley and Ryan Green and several close nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Joan McGrath. Arrangements have made with Southern Cremations & Funerals at Holly Hill 431 Southwest Broad Street, Fairburn GA 30213. A visitation will be held Saturday January 18, 2020 at 12:30 PM with funeral services following immediately after at 2:00 PM. A summer memorial service will be held in Henderson NY for family and friends. Online condolences may be made at southerncremations.com. In lieu of flowers, you can make donations in Ray's memory.
