Julia “Judy” Teresa Huffman December 8, 1949 – January 23, 2020 Julia “Judy” Teresa Huffman passed away on January 23, 2020. She was born December 8, 1949 in Pendleton South Carolina to James T. and Lois Agnes White Wilson. Judy married Ron Huffman on June 30, 1970 in New York City and they enjoyed 49 years of marriage together. Judy spent her professional career in banking and finance, serving as a branch manager until her retirement. Judy was the proud mother of Kelly and Lindsey. She enjoyed many things in life including cooking, movie history (old Hollywood), white wine, red nail polish, playing cards and animals, especially her cats. She loved Clemson football, traveling, staying in nice hotels and ordering room service. Her greatest treasure was her family. She was very active with anything her daughters were doing and especially enjoyed watching them play softball. Judy was an advocate for those fighting cancer and was heavily involved in the local Relay for Life Charity Walk with the American Cancer Society. Judy was a friend to many but valued and cherished those close relationships she had with her friends. She will be sorely missed. Judy is survived by her husband Ron Huffman, Marietta GA. Daughters Kelly Schneider (Eric), Newnan GA, Lindsey Huffman, Woodstock, GA. Mother Agnes Wilson, Williamston, SC. Sisters Patsy Mize, Williamston SC, Peggy Hamilton, Anderson SC. Judy was preceded in death by her father James T. Wilson. There will be a brief visitation followed by a memorial service and celebration of her life on Thursday January 30, 2020 at Southern Cremations & Funerals Columbarium Chapel at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Atlanta Humane Society.
