Robbie Jean McElwaney

Robbie Jean McElwaney November 29, 1937 – February 20, 2020 Robbie Jean passed at home in Marietta, GA surrounded in love and comfort. She is survived by one sister Portia Hensley, one brother Bill Goforth, one daughter Robin, five grandchildren Jamie, Shannon, Tracey, Jessica, and Justin. In addition she has several great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Mrs. McElwaney was a Georgia resident her whole life. She worked a couple jobs over her lifetime but the most proud and satisfying work was alongside her late husband L.M McElwaney; building, remodeling homes and yard work. She was a devoted mother including caring for her late daughter with mental illnesses. She believed in hard work and can do just about anything, whether it be baking a cake or laying brick! Services will be held at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park 1861 Dallas Highway, Marietta, GA 30064. A special thank you to great grandchildren, Faith and Timothy Dupree for assisting in her care these final years.
