They would move to Staten Island, where they continued to serve the Lord together. Reverend Brown would eventually be called to preach and devoted her life to spreading the Gospel. She was committed to the Lord.
Reverend Brown also worked for several years at a daycare. She absolutely loved it. The children gave her much joy! This was not the end for her, but a new beginning.
She and her family relocated to Stone Mountain, Georgia, where she joined Lindsey Street Baptist Church. Reverend Brown loved the Lord and couldn’t praise him enough. No matter what church, her focus was on serving the Lord.

She was also known for her fancy style, clothes, hair, nails, and make-up all matching. Reverend Brown was always on point! She was an excellent seamstress, sewing all kinds of beautiful dresses, suits, curtains, chair, and couch covers too. Reverend Brown would she something in a magazine and say “Hum, I can make that myself”, and she did. She designed and made all the dresses for her sister’s wedding. Reverend Brown was extremely talented. She could cook and bake, her red velvet cake was like a slice of Heaven.
As the years went on Reverend Brown’s health declined, but this still did not stop her. She continued to press on, always happy, grateful, and most of all faithful. Reverend Brown never lost her sense of humor, she could make you laugh on the drop of a dime. Every chance she had, she testified about how good God was. Reverend Brown reminded us to always be grateful and put God first.
