Mr. Richard Paul Lindsey Jr., 74, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at his residence. The son of a military father, Paul was born September 22, 1945 in Miami, FL but was a lifelong resident of Marietta and a graduate of Sprayberry High School. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Paul Lindsey Sr.; his mother, Cora Lindsey (Standridge); his sister, Ann Kuzy; and his brother-in-law, Ted Kuzy.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Glenda Lee Lindsey; his son, Richard Paul Lindsey III of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Maddie Lindsey and Devin Lindsey; his sister, Claudia Morris of Marietta; several nieces and nephews; and his lifelong friend, Mike Carlisle.
Paul was a Heating & Air Technician and had retired from R.S. Andrews who had bought out his only other employer, Mead Royal. He loved Georgia football and N.A.S.C.A.R. Paul also loved spending time with his family.
Due to the current conditions with the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service for Paul will be announced at a later date.

First time i met paul was at Shoney’s in Marietta. He was driving a 69 Camaro SS. We were regulars until they closed it down. Pals for over 50 years. Wish we could have 50 more.
Well, it’s been a year now. I miss our Saturday’s shooting pool. The table hasn’t seen any action since you and I were on it last. We’ll rack em up again one day.
