Richard Paul Lindsey

Mr. Richard Paul Lindsey Jr., 74, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at his residence. The son of a military father, Paul was born September 22, 1945 in Miami, FL but was a lifelong resident of Marietta and a graduate of Sprayberry High School. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Paul Lindsey Sr.; his mother, Cora Lindsey (Standridge); his sister, Ann Kuzy; and his brother-in-law, Ted Kuzy. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Glenda Lee Lindsey; his son, Richard Paul Lindsey III of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Maddie Lindsey and Devin Lindsey; his sister, Claudia Morris of Marietta; several nieces and nephews; and his lifelong friend, Mike Carlisle. Paul was a Heating & Air Technician and had retired from R.S. Andrews who had bought out his only other employer, Mead Royal. He loved Georgia football and N.A.S.C.A.R. Paul also loved spending time with his family. Due to the current conditions with the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service for Paul will be announced at a later date.
