Linda Margaret Anatole

Linda M. Anatole passed away peacefully in Douglasville, GA, on June 20, 2020 at the age of 66. She was born in Curacao and immigrated to Brooklyn, NY in 1962. Linda always felt the call to be a teacher since a young girl and taught in the New York City public school system for almost 30 years. She received a Master of Science in Education in 1986 and specialized in working with special education students. Linda also served as a Special Education Supervisor in District 85 in Brooklyn, NY and tutored in low-income neighborhoods. In addition to teaching, Linda loved gardening, collecting porcelain dolls, and reading books. Linda is predeceased by her father, Johnny Anatole, her mother, Benedicte Anatole, and her sister, Milda “Gabby” Anatole. She is survived by her brothers, Bernard and Clive Anatole, her sisters-in-law, Tess and Sherry Anatole, her nieces, Christine and Angelica Anatole, and her nephews, Brandon, Jayson, Clive “CJ”, Chay, and Chandler “Jedi” Anatole. Linda is lovingly remembered by her grandnephews and grandnieces: • Isayah Anatole • Jaydyn Kelley • Gabryella Anatole • Anastaysia Anatole • Messiayah Anatole • Joshuwa Anatole • Nova Anatole • Jay Lynne Anatole The viewing will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 10am-12pm followed by the service. Linda will be buried at 1pm in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
