Alice M. Bennewitz

Alice Bennewitz, age 73, passed away peacefully on Friday June 26, 2020 in Marietta, GA. Alice was born July 29, 1946 in Blue Island, IL to Archibald “Archie” and Frances (Manes) Talbot. She met her husband while in college and they married in July of 1967. Alice worked for Delta Airlines for 32 years until she retired in 2005 to spend time with her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Traveling and spending time with her family and friends were some of the things Alice enjoyed. She will be greatly missed. Alice is preceded in death by her husband Howard; parents Frances and Archie Talbot; and brother George Talbot. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her son, Timothy Bennewitz; daughter, Kimberly Bennewitz Baltzell (Patrick); grandchildren, Tyler, Kaleigh, Sterling, Harrison, Ragan, Hanley and Reese; her great-grand children; her sister, Frances Uzelac and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Alice’s life will be held on July 11, 2020 at 4 PM at 401 Ward Farm Dr. Powder Springs, GA 30127. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the WellStar Foundation/ Tranquility at Kennestone Mountain. 805 Sandy Plains Rd. Ste. 100 Marietta, GA 30066
