Shirley Gang

Shirley Gang, 77, died July 24, 2020 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her family in Fairburn, GA. A memorial service is being held on Friday Aug 22, 2020. With family and close friends at home. She was born in Greensburg, IN on March 4,1943 to John and Irene Hellmich. She attended Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Cincinnati, OH and graduated in1963 with a Diploma degree in Nursing. She married Herman James Gang in February 27, 1965. They moved several times in their 55 years of marriage and have resided in GA for the past 25 years. Shirley was a dedicated nurse, wife and mother. She was honored as employee of the year by St Josephs Hospital just prior to her retirement in 2013. Her interests included reading, real estate, and taking excellent care of her family. She was a strong Christian and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She espoused the ideals kindness, patience, and endless love. Mrs Gang is survived by her loving husband, Herman James Gang,; daughters, Anita Vaughan, Patricia Sullivan, and son Mark Gang. She has 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ralph, Don, and Charles. She is greatly missed.
