Condolences to this family. Such a shock. I saw him last month while visiting my family in Monroe. “What you doing in Monroe”? I said visiting my family. He said, “gone and visit your family then“, with a gentle smile and laugh. RIP “Boy Baby“.🙏🏾 You were a real good man and cousin.
Rest in peace Boybaby
Boybaby as we called him, was my neighbor and classmate, he was always clowning around, but the one thing that I will remember most and that was he always called me Nadine (my mom name, I called him Sis Spear his mom), after my mom died,he knew I was having a hard time, so when he saw me, you could tell he was nervous and didn’t know what to say, so I looked at him and said what up Sis Spear and that let him know I wanted him to say my mom name, so he said How you doing Nadine, and from then on,we never stop calling each other by our Mom’s name, so Boybaby when you get there tell Nadine and Sis Spear, I love them both and I miss them, Now when you see Pam, Gene and Henry Lee don’t y’all have to much fun at the Class Reunion, and don’t let Pam and Henry Lee do all the planning. Love you and remember ’72’ we stand strong. LOVE AND MISS YOU GUYS 💜💜💜
Larry, Olinda and I grew up living across the side walk from each other. We had parents who wasn’t afraid to chastise any of us whenever necessary. We knew that the rod in either parents hand could be exercised for all of us. Larry Boy-Baby, was the youngest of the three of us teens. Larry was always sucking his thumb, but never missing a beat. Always sharply dressed, very pleasant and fun to spend time with. Larry, Olinda and I all got married around the same time. Although, I moved away years ago, my heart was always very near. Larry will truly be missed, but so happy to know he’s resting in the arms of “Our Lord and Saviour “. Surely, we will meet again!
