His time spent in Destin and in Colorado with his Aunt Betsey and Uncle Mel Frazier were some of his fondest memories. Never one to be indoors for too long, Steve spent most of his life working outdoors. After college he worked for Crawford and Company in Alaska on the Valdez oil spill, several Atlanta area golf courses as a superintendent and, most recently, in the landscape business with Green Acres Landscaping.
A ceremony honoring Steve will be held at Honey Creek Woodlands, a 2,300 acre memorial nature preserve in Conyers, Georgia located in the Monastery of the Holy Spirit. Because of the pandemic, the service will be postponed until it is safe for family and friends to travel and gather.
In lieu of flowers Our Pal’s Place in Marietta will accept donations in Steve name to honor his love of all dogs.

I have never met a person before who I would describe as truly good. “Good” seems like a watered-down word, but it’s much stronger than it sounds and it is fitting for only one person I have had the pleasure of knowing. Steve was simply a good person. He had no enemies and had no hatred in his heart. The glass was always half-full in his eyes and he never complained about life’s little bothers that seem to get the rest of us down. Steve was grateful for all of the good things that he had and never wanted for more. His warm nature and incredible sense of humor would rub off on you the moment you were in his presence. So many times he would make me laugh until I could hardly breathe! Many of my life’s most precious moments are wrapped up in him and his memory. What a gift he was to me and to so many others! While my heart is broken and I will miss him terribly, I know in my heart that heaven just received an amazing and wonderful Angel.
Glad I spent the time I did with you at UGA. Watch over us Your buddy Ace
