Benoit Gerald Durrough

October 7, 1955 ~ October 20, 2020

On Monday, October 20th, 2020, our brother, our uncle and our friend passed peacefully in his home at the age of 65. Born on October 7th, 1955 in Orleans, France. Benny was a parishioner at St. George Catholic Church where he shared his love of music in the choir for many years. He was an avid motocross racer and spent much of his free time either racing or working on his bikes. He worked for many years at All Crane where he received numerous awards and recognition for his service as a crane operator. Benny’s love for music and motocross was superseded only by his love of family. He was preceded in death by his parents Jimmy and Annick Durrough of Fairburn and his brother Frank Durrough of Mexico Beach, Florida. He is survived by his two sisters, Dorothy (Tim) Blair of Union City, Georgia and Lynn Witter of Murphy North Carolina, numerous nieces, nephews and family members both here in the US as well as in France. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Emory Healthcare of Atlanta. https://securelb.imodules.com/s/1705/02-health-sciences/interior-hybrid.aspx?sid=1705&gid=2&pgid=592&cid=1350&dids=1&appealcode=UPEH9
