Larry Lee Armstrong

Larry Lee Armstrong, 74, of Austell, GA and formerly of Marietta, GA passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020. Born in Pine Mountain, GA, he was the son of the late Elmer Whitmore Armstrong and the late Mary Kate (Williams) Armstrong. Larry was also preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Carole Armstrong; his wife, Linda Mae (Jordan) Armstrong; and his son, Chad Whitmore Armstrong. Larry served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force and had been stationed in Okinawa, Japan. In his later years, he was a bus driver for Cobb County. Larry loved his wife, loved his family, and loved his church. Survivors include his daughter, Lori Michelle Feeley; his grandsons, Geoffrey Lee Feeley and Logan Bryce Feeley; and his granddaughter, Chadlyn Caydence Armstrong. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in the Columbarium at Southern Cremations & Funerals at Cheatham Hill. The funeral service will be conducted at 12 p.m. in the Columbarium with Pastor Troy Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park with military honors. Serving as pallbearers will be Danny McClure, Michael Corvin, Greg Jenkins, Randy Stone, Brandon Geer, Justin Rotonda, and Perry Langley. Click here for the service livestream.
