Jordan Michael Smith

Jordan Michael Smith, age 37, of Roswell, Georgia, passed away, Wednesday, December 8, 2020. Born July 19, 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Ronald Forrester, Sr. and Blanche Lindsey Forrester of Hoover, Alabama, and grandmother, Mary Jo Smith of Pell City, Alabama. He is survived by his mother, Ronda Forrester Smith of Roswell, Georgia, father, Michael Ray Smith (Becky), of Marietta, Georgia, sister, Joslyn Smith of Roswell, Georgia, grandfather, Rayburn J. Smith of Pell City, Alabama, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jordan grew up in Marietta, Georgia, graduated in 2001 from Frederick J. Furtah Preparatory School, then attended Chattahoochee Technical College. He enjoyed his family and friends and never met a stranger. There were very few things he could not repair or create, and few subjects that he could not have an intelligent and meaningful conversation about. He educated himself in any subject that he enjoyed, and loved to use that knowledge to help others. If you had car problems, he was the one to fix it. If you needed repairs done to your home, he was there to help. If you had computer, phone, or audio/visual problems, he knew what to do. He was an excellent salesman as well as a chef. He loved cars and attending all types of races. Jordan was an easy going, gentle soul, who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
