Tracie Moore

February 26, 1962 ~ January 9, 2021

Mrs. Tracie Sims Moore of Fairburn, GA departed this life on 01/09/2021. She was preceded in death by her daughter Shawana Moore-Knight, Mother Alice Gay- Sims, Father James C. Sims, Brother Larry Sims, Sister Teresa Sims-Crawford, Brother Terry Sims, and Sister Tammie Yvette Sims. As well as one special great cousin Aliner Stargell. Tracie graduated from Russell High School in East Point, Ga. She gained employment at Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority where she retired from in 2015. During her over 30 year career as a MARTA employee, Tracie progressed from an entry level parking lot attendant job advancing into supervisor in Rail Maintenance. Tracie had a loving, giving and caring heart; she will be truly missed by all the people she has touched in her life. She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and devoted husband Mr. Alfred Moore. One Grandson Tiante Knight, 2 grandchildren, and one brother Mr. Turhan Sims. In addition, she has two caring sister’s/brother’s in love. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that all mourn her passing.

I know the pain seems like it will never go away. But that’s when you ask the Father to help you, to guide you. He knew you loved her but He loved her much, much more.
